Over two and a half years (2024-2026), OATS designed and built a first-of-its-kind resource, The Guide to Organic Handling and Processing, in collaboration with the Organic Trade Association (OTA) and funded by the USDA National Organic Program.
This website provides useful information to support organic handlers and processors in their day-to-day operations and to plan their future. The platform translates complex organic standards into clear and actionable information, making organic compliance more accessible across the supply chain.

Every resource started with a conversation. We interviewed organic professionals nationwide to understand their daily challenges. The content is written, reviewed by experts, and tested for application, resulting in practical education for handlers.
